Pending Decision

The UC application for fall admission to UCI opens August 1. The submission period is October 1 - November 30. Apply online and be sure to select UCI as your first choice!

After submitting the application, applicants will receive further information about activating their Applicant Status Portal. Once your portal is activated, UCI applicants for the upcoming term will use the Applicant Status Portal to contact UCI Admissions.

If you are having trouble accessing your portal, please open up a ticket with OIT Helpdesk for proper assistance.

Portal Access

If you haven't activated your UCI Applicant Portal yet, you will need to:

Find your UCInetID and Student ID number in the email with the subject line, "Application Acknowledgement: Activate your UCInetID," sent to you in December. If you are unable to find the email, you may submit a request for them here.
Read and acknowledge the Terms and Conditions upon login

Students who have applied for admission to the current fall term should contact their admission counselor via their Student Portal.

Current UCI Students

Until October 15, newly admitted students for their first fall term should contact their admission counselor via their Admitted Student Portal. If you have any questions or concerns after the portal has closed, you can talk to an admission counselor through our live chat at admissions.uci.edu between the hours of 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday - Friday or call us at (949) 824-6703 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Current UCI students inquiring about receiving credit or clearing university requirements by taking UC-transferable coursework taken outside of UCI or through AP, IB, and GCE Advanced Level exams should visit the Current Student page for more information.
